Window Switch Replacement FAQs

1. How do you remove power window switches?

To prepare your car for the window switch replacement, gently pry the switch panel or bezel using a flat-head screwdriver. Locate and detach the electrical connector at the rear of the switch, then remove any screws. Pull the switch assembly from the door panel and replace it with the new switch.

2. How do you reset a power window switch?

To reset your window button replacement, start by turning on the ignition. Lower the window completely, then raise it and hold the switch for a few seconds after it reaches the top.

3. Are the replacement power window switches OEM or aftermarket?

Our replacement power window switches are not aftermarket because aftermarket parts don’t always fit correctly. Our OEM used auto parts fit perfectly and enable reliable performance.
